Sincerely, it was a just perfect stay for an Alton Towers weekend. The location was unbeatable and quiet, for example, Cheadle Methodist Centre was not too far from the hotel. The food they offered was...  

The rooms were neat, spacious bedroom for a good sleep. Its service was fantastic.

Great stay with delicious food

The meals were generous, and I loved the baked s'mores dessert that was a good surprise! The staff was cute. I could hear some noise from the bar when it was busy, which might be distracting for light sleepers.

The warm welcome started our stay right, and the food was hearty and wholesome-especially the pizza cooked fresh in the wood-fired oven, which prompted a good and unexpected dessert we had to try! The cosy family...  

The pizzas were a real highlight, baked to perfection! The staff were accommodating, even with a room change. The bed linen smelled good.

Yes, the room showed its age-bits of dust and cobwebs hid the charm. The shower was a bit of a letdown, and while the bedding was fresh, a few spots could've used a closer look. Still, it all held a certain quirky character.

Loved the homemade pizzas delivered straight to my room when I returned soaked from a long day! The cozy seating areas and beautiful garden made for relaxing spots to unwind after exploring. Just a heads-up, the bathroom setup could use a little improvement, but it didn't ruin my overall experience. 😊

Do recommend for a short break

Charming pub, good food, the bar area offered homemade meals made from local produce, and I especially enjoyed the warm welcome and friendly staff, made our stay nice.

Access to our room was via steep stairs cluttered with items, which wasn't exactly cute. There were significant cleanliness issues in the shower, with thick black scum and poor drainage ruining the experience, and overall, breakfast service could be needlessly slow without much variety offered. A lack of fire evacuation instructions inside the room was also concerning.

The food was delicious, especially the pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven. The staff made everything so easy for our family, even accommodating our room change without hassle.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, improved with friendly staff who accommodated our late arrival after a long day at a nearby amusement park. Enjoying the delicious pizzas, a highlight of our stay, was complemented by a fulfilling full English breakfast in the morning. The noise from the main road made it difficult to enjoy fresh air, and a couple of pillows were lumpy, affecting sleep quality at times.

Room was cozy and the staff were good! After a soaking day at the park, they heroically delivered delicious pizza right to my door-yes, please!

Our bathroom seemed like it hadn't quite grasped cleanliness. I guess the shower was going for that rustic 'weathered' look?

Great location - it's quiet and awesome, close to Alton Towers. the staff was friendly and cheerful, I have no complaints whatsoever. the freshly made breakfast they served daily was a hit with me! 🌟...
